According to a later account, Presley stayed in a separate residence on the facility\u2019s grounds and had roommates. He was found unresponsive there the following morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency services were called at approximately 9:35 a.m.<\/strong> after a report of a possible overdose in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street. According to People, dispatch recordings identified the emergency as a \u201ccardiac arrest\u201d at an unnamed facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding officers found an adult man who was not responsive and attempted lifesaving measures. Paramedics pronounced Presley dead at 9:45 a.m.<\/strong>, approximately 10 minutes after the call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Santa Monica Police Department said, \u201cSMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play<\/strong>. The investigation remains ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
