“Kaia and Presley were insanely close,” the source said, adding, “I don’t know how she’s going to go on without him.”

Only a day later, Cindy and Rande were photographed outside Presley’s home. According to the report, they departed the Hollywood property together in a black Range Rover.

Emergency services were called at approximately 9:35 a.m. after a report of a possible overdose in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street. According to People, dispatch recordings identified the emergency as a “cardiac arrest” at an unnamed facility.

Responding officers found an adult man who was not responsive and attempted lifesaving measures. Paramedics pronounced Presley dead at 9:45 a.m., approximately 10 minutes after the call.

The Santa Monica Police Department said, “SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing.”

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner offered similarly cautious language while authorities continued examining the circumstances. “The investigation is still ongoing, and there is limited information available,” its statement read.

An autopsy had been completed by Monday morning, and Presley’s body was ready to be released. The official cause of death, however, remained undetermined.
